In November I accompanied a group of students on a 10 day expedition. They are 1st year students of Outdoor recreation , and most have started kayaking this year.

We walked for 5 days over a couple of peaks, and reached the headwaters of the Clarence river , then spent 5 days descending the 200km to the ocean in high water.

In the mountains we had some beautiful weather, and summited 2 peaks.

Here is a Polar bear we spotted .

Then the team hit the River for a 5 day river trip, rapids up to class 3 , high water, and a long way to the coast.
