Racing the Speeder
After months of waiting I finally got a chance to race the Speeder. The event was the second annual Schroon River Scramble. It’s a small local event that is held in Warrensburg, NY. The course is a 3/4 mile sprint through some really fun class III. In 2006 I got second place.
This year was different we had a LeManz start where you have to run to your boat get in and go. I got right out in front during the run to the boats and stayed there for the whole race. I finished well ahead of next competitor. I got to take home a sweet wood bear for a whole year
The speeder is super fast, and still pretty maneuverable. I can’t wait to get it on something a little more difficult.
