Every year Leeds University do a cracking job of gathering 500 students from all over the UK, into a field in Nottingham to do what students do best…

…show off there impressive array of old skool rodeo moves - of course! The 2 day event was ‘the’ event of the year so far, ranging from people getting there first front surf to the Men’s expert final where all the big moves where flying thick and fast. Rich from Pyranha and some of the Pyranha team were on hand all weekend to offer Pyranha’s extensive demo boat fleet, run coaching sessions and ’seat of the pants’ judging services!

 

OK it wasn’t just all about hardcore freestyle paddling, there was a small gathering [eh hm of 600-ish Cowboy’s, Cowgirls, just plain cows and the odd cactus!] in a wild west themed party on the Saturday evening, which flowed into the early hours of Sunday Morning. leaving everyone bleary eyed to start the whole thing over again on the Sunday…
