Sopotnice is unique artificial playspot. I like this hole and the event too. There were other supplemental competition – ramp jumping and slope style. Slope style menas jumpinmg, turning and sliding on special wooden railing.

I competed in women category with 3 Slovak girls and I won the freestyle competition.

Next freestyle event of czech tour will be canceled, because unfortunately the small flood is continuing in Czech republic.

Our women´s team Technika Extreme Ladies was on 2.place. The competition was composed from running (Tana Metelkova), paragliding (Pavlina Herberova), biking (Pavlina Cerna) and kayaking (me).  The water course wasn´t so hard, but there were some gate. It was funny events and new experience for me.

It was fun, only the organisation was so slowly… But the Washmachine is so great. I like it!
In the end I was on 7. place in my category.

I have new Molan S. I like it! I have to adapt fro it, but the jump is so high.

I tried Molan in Plzen (second gualification competition for European championship) and in Ceske vrbne ( freestyle camp for beginners).

I tried Molan in wave too. I was in Graz. It was first competiton from Alpine Rivers Freestyle Cup (Graz, Wildalpen, Tacen and Bratislava).  I like the wave, the city and the competiton. Thanks for it! I placed on 3. position in women category.

Now I prepare for World cup in Augsburg and European champinon ship in Linez and Teva Outdoor games too!

The Freestyle European Championship will be in Lienz in June. The Czech representation have to compete in two competition.

The first competition was last weekend in Ceske Budejovice. The weather was so cold, but the playspot was nice and cute.  4 women, 6 men and 2 C1 competed in two qualification ride by session system. I was first in woman category. Now I mean, that I will go to European championship!

I paddle in 4- twenty, but I´m looking forward to new Molan for next competition.

I have some news from freestyle.

Last week ICF World Cahmpionship took place in Switzerland. The wave in Thun was very changeable and not so big.

But the event ran over eficient and thaks for organizers.

Secon day was scheduled team race. We are only me and two guys – Jan Lasko and Matej Sottner from Czechrepublic, so we competed together.

On Saturday the competition started in Ivrea with extreme slalom and after individual sprint.

The most popular was extreme slalom in national team. We positioned 3. place. and time of extreme down river and time of slalom race were counted and Czech team placed on 4. place.

Last day was in token of kayak cross.

The start was from the ramp amd two banners for the touch were in course.

In the end I was overall second in girls category.

There weren´t so much people, but it was fun. The playspot in Bratislava – slalom course in Cunovo was sticky and strong, on th other hand hole in Lienz was quickly. I like it.

In Lienz I went from qualification from 3.-4. place to semifinale and from the same place to finals.

Unfortunately I was 5.

I´m gong to last eurocup to Netherlands in September.

We had first Czech competition from CNAWR rodeo tour. It was nice competition in small town with good playspot. I was scond in qualification and unfortunately five in finals.

Other weekend I was in Youngsters camp, where we teached children some skills from freestyle.

Nice weekend I spent in Graz, where was good competition and noble wave. I can try new tricks.

I spent cuple of days with my Burn in Austiria. We pallded in Kopentraun, Untertalbach, Lammer, Loferbach etc. The water level was little higher, but it was fun.

We had qualification for Worldchampionship in Thun 2009. I done it. And I will go there.

We had two small competitions in Platling. There was the wave on rght side and the hole on left side.

So I´m looking forward to Thun.

I want to say something about the freestyle kayaking in CZE.

Maybe somebody knows Czech playspots from the World Cup 2008 or Euro Cup 2005 and 2006.
I study in Prague, here is situated the slalom course Troja. In spring and summer I used to paddle in a small wave or a bigger hole, which is sometime very sticky.
Usually, we have four freestyle competitions in CNAWR rodeo tour and the Czech Championship in Prague.

The tour competitions have been in Kadan – a small, training hole, which is 100 km from Prague,

In the Czech Republic there are many rivers with dams, which have good water level only twice or once a year. On these rivers there are interesting playspots, too.

Otherwise we have kayak cross competition here. Our mountains are only 1600m high, but in spring the steep creeks flow down from snow. It is nice creeking.
I promise to send some photos from Czech creeks in the spring.
